ADJOURNED MEETING - DECEMBER 9, 1987
The City Council met in session on this date at 6:30`P.M. at the
Towne Plaza Motor Inn and Restaurant, Yakima, Washington, for a
dinner meeting the local State Legislators, for the purpose of
discussing legislative priorities. Council members in attendance
were: Mayor Henry Beauchamp, Clarence Barnett, Pat Berndt, Lynn
Buchanan, -Lynn Carmichael, Jerry Foy and Bernard Sims. State
Legislators included: Republican Senator Alex Deccio, Republican
Representatives -Jim ,Lewis and Shirley Doty; Democratic.
Representatives. Forrest Baugher and and 'Margaret Rayburn.
Assistant City Manager Fred Stouder also present.
The Council discussed various legislative priorities of interest
I/ to the City of Yakima with the State Legislators, after which the
meeting was adjourned at the hour of 9:45 P.M.
