Set date of June 16, 2015 for a Public Hearing and Approval of an
Interlocal Agreement for the 2015 JAG Grant.

The City of Yakima has been notified by the Department of Justice that it is eligible to apply for the 2015
JAG grant in the amount of $62,261. Further, the City is required to share $12,295 of these funds with
Yakima County. The City will use this grant funding for anti-crime emphasis patrols, while the County
will use the funds to pay for police equipment. The grant requires an interlocal agreement and a public
hearing.
