ITEM TITLE: Report on Police Technology and Crime Analysts
SUBMITTED BY: Chief Murray, Yakima Police Department
SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Chief Murray will provide a verbal report on the utilization of new technology to leverage personnel
resources to disrupt and further reduce crime including a discussion on the two additional crime
analysists (for a total of three)granted by council in 2021 to utilize data to make decisions on how
to best address crime.
