SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City Project 2527 replaced the operator interface, variable frequency drives, and associated
sensors to improve sewer collection system reliability and efficiency at the Rudkin Road Pump
Station.
Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be
accepted. Project completion is subject to issuance of Certificate of Payment by the Department
of Revenue. A final payment of$17,950.00 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Farmers Electric II,
LLC for the completion of the work completed at the City's Rudkin Road Pump Station.

Payments: $370,488.00
Retainage Due: $17,950.00
Total Project Cost: $388,438.00
The total contract is for the construction only and does not include engineering and other costs.
City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.

Farmers Electric II, LLC (Farmers) has completed work on the Rudkin Road Lift
' Station, Wastewater Pump Station Upgrades project in accordance with the
�NI plans and specifications. RH2 Engineering, Inc., (RH2) recommends Final
Acceptance of the contract at City of Yakima's (City) next scheduled council
leeting. The project total is $388,483.00 which includes all contractor pay
,,,I J I Co' estimates, sales tax, and change orders.
WASHINGTON The Final Contract Voucher Certificate and Change Order No 1 reconciling the
LOCATIONS difference between the contract amount and final payment are attached to
Bellingham this letter.
Bothell (Corporate) The completion date for this contract has been established as March 7th, 2022.
East Wenatchee The signed subcontractor release forms and affidavits of wages paid have been
Issaquah submitted. These documents are also attached to this letter.
Richland
Tacoma The City will need to submit the Notice of Completion of Public Works Contract
forms for release from the Washington State Departments of Revenue,
OREGON Employment Security Department, and Labor and Industries. This is required
LOCATIONS prior to the retainage bond being eligible for release.
Medford
Portland Per Division 1.43.20 in the Technical Specifications, this project is covered by a
1-year warranty to correct any defects in workmanship or materials following
IDAHO completion of the construction project and acceptance by the City. The date of
LOCATIONS project acceptance is defined as the date the final payment is sent to the
Meridian Contractor from the Owner.
