YAKIMA CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
March 29, 2022
Convention Center Room B
10 a.m. -3 p.m.
1. Roll Call
Present: Councilmembers Patricia Byers and Danny Herrera
Absent and excused: Mayor Janice Deccio,Assistant Mayor Soneya Lund and Councilmembers
Matt Brown, Holly Cousens and Eliana Macias
Due to a possible quorum of Council members, this community meeting was noticed as a special
council meeting; however, as a quorum was not reached at the time of the meeting, the special
meeting of the City Council was canceled and the meeting proceeded with its scheduled agenda.
2. Community meeting regarding public safety
Police Chief Murray invited Council members to a community meeting with the Yakima Domestic
Violence Coalition and Yakima School District regarding community response.
3. Adjournment
The meeting concluded at 3 p.m.
