ITEM TITLE: Public meeting on the draft redistricting plan

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
At the Council's March 8, 2022 study session, the Council moved forward the map entitled
Option 2 to be the draft redistricting plan of the City of Yakima. RCW 29A.76.010 requires that
the draft plan be published and a public meeting be held where the public may comment within
ten days of publication. The public has been invited to comment and provide feedback on the
draft plan at the meeting, or to send written comments to the City.
