• Rockey Marshall tendered his resignation from the Community Review Board
back. in April but has been continuing to participate when he could while waiting
for a replacement. We have tried many avenues to get applications with no
success. Finally, yesterday we received one from Martin Chacon. Martin was a
member of the Housing Authority and recently resigned. He had told Joe
Caruso that he was interested in serving on the CRB once he was off of the
Housing Authority.
Last week I sent a copy of Rockey's resignation letter as well as Martin's
application for your review. Please determine whether or not to recommend him
for appointment to Rockey's position. The term for that position expires 6/30/10,
so there is less than a year left. Thank you.
