BETWEEN THE CITY OF YAKIMA
AND THE YAKIMA POLICE PATROLMAN'S ASSOCIATION
This Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the City of Yakima, a
Washington municipal corporation ("City"), and the Yakima Police Patrolman's Association
("YPPA"). The City and the YPPA are referred to collectively as the "Parties".
PURPOSE: The purpose of this Agreement is to establish the terms and conditions by
which the YPPA will provide funds to the City to be used exclusively for the renovation of the gym
located at the Richard L. Zais Law and Justice Center.
TERMS: The YPPA agrees to provide to the City a total of fifty percent (50%) of the total
cost of the items listed in Exhibit A to be applied towards the purchase and installation of those
items. The City will provide the remaining fifty percent (50%) as well as covering the tax and
shipping of the same items. The items will remain the property of the City and the YPPA shall
have no rights in them.
DONOR CONDITIONS: The YPPA will provide the funds subject to this agreement as
follows:
1. All funds provided by the YPPA shall be applied to the purchase of new equipment
identified in Exhibit A.
2. The members of the YPPA will continue to be allowed access to the gym located at
the Richard L. Zais Law and Justice Center subject to the normal terms and conditions
established by the City as they now exist or as amended from time to time.
3. The equipment, while in useable condition, shall stay at Richard L. Zais Law and
Justice Center and not moved or repurposed to another location.
4. The City will be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the items at the sole
discretion of the City.
