SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
OIC of Washington has invited Councilmembers to attend a Rally of Appreciation in support of
the development of the Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) pool. Due to a possible quorum of Council
members, this event has been noticed as a special council meeting.

OIC of Washington on behalf of various community organizers cordially invites community
members, partners, and affiliates to join us in a community rally of appreciation in support the
development of the MLK Pool.
To date, the community has been able to raise $4 million through the support of local and state
government. As a thank you there will be a rally at the MLK Park.
