In addition to those recommendations, the following opportunities are recommended for Yakima's downtown parking system for City Council consideration. All operating and capital costs associated with these recommendations are included in the adopted 2015 City of Yakima budget. Adoption of these recommendations adds 446 free public parking spaces in the core of downtown, as well as, a safer parking environment.
