PARTNERSHIP (NOMINATING) COMMITTEE MINUTES
January 28, 2015
The meeting convened at 1:35 p.m.
Council present: Micah Cawley and Dave Ettl
Absent: Maureen Adkison
Staff Present: Sonya Claar Tee
1) Council members reviewed applications for Boards and Committees and made the
following recommendations:
• Planning Commission — 1 vacancy (term expires 6/30/18)
It was Committee consensus to interview five of the applicants.
• Parks & Recreation Commission — 3 vacancies (terms expire 6/30/16., 6130117 and
Youth 6/30/16)
It was Committee consensus to recommend the Roger Lewis for appointment by the City
Council. The only other applicant, Michael Hayes, withdrew his application as he no
longer lives in Yakima.
