S UM M ARY E X P L ANAT I O N:
The Council Nominating Committee met informally on March 8, 2022 to review the appointment
process to City Boards & Committees. T he Committee suggests amending the Council Rules
of P rocedure to add: 1) that any time there are two or more applicants for a position that
interviews will be held and 2) to direct the City Manager to include a staff liaison in the interview
process.
