Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

This action would set January 20, 2015 as the date for a public hearing to amend the six-year
TIP. An amendment to the 2015-2020 six-year TIP is required to modify the number 6 priority
project, Powerhouse Road Sidewalk. The modification will make $30,000.00 in approved
Federal Funds available for Preliminary Engineering to design this project.

RESOLUTION NO. R -2015-
A RESOLUTION fixing the time and place of a hearing for January 20, 2015 at 6:30 pm in
the Council Chambers at City Hall to amend the 2015 through 2020 Six -
Year Transportation Improvement Program.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima annually prepares, reviews and adopts a Six -Year
Transportation Improvement Program for the construction of streets and arterial streets in
the City of Yakima for the ensuing six year period, all as contemplated and required by State
and Federal law, and
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima has identified a need to amend the current Six Year
Transportation Improvement Program for the construction of streets and arterial streets in
the City of Yakima; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held on said amended program before final
approval, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That said amended program shall be presented for hearing and determination on Tuesday,
January 20, 2015 at 6:30 PM on said day, in the Council Chambers of the City of Yakima, at
Yakima City Hall, Yakima, Washington, or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard,
and that notice of such hearing be given as approved by law.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 6th day of January, 2015.
