SUMMARY EXPLANATION: .
This project was to install a municipal drinking water supply well. The well is located in the
northwest corner of Gardner Park at Cornell Ave. and W. Pierce. The well was completed to
about 900 feet below ground surface. Test pumping concluded the well will produce about 3,000
gallons per minute, well within design.
Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be
accepted.
Construction of the pumping facility will continue in 2010 under separate design and contract.
This Council action is to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.

Contract Cost: $1,420,666.00
Final Contract Cost: $1,382,847.40

The above total contract cost is for construction of the well only and does not include
engineering, pumping facility and other costs.
