BUSINESS OF THE CITY COUNCIL YAKIMA, WASHINGTON AGENDA STATEMENT ITEM NO. 7k S FOR MEETING OF: March 2, 2010 ITEM TITLE: Set March 23, 2010, as the date for a "Closed Record" hearing before the City of Yakima Council and Yakima County Commissioners to consider the City of Yakima Planning Commission's recommendation on proposed Comprehensive and Transportation Plan Text amendments to the City of Yakima's Yakima Urban Area Comprehensive Plan and Transportation Plan 2025. Yakima's Planning Commission's recommendation on proposed Comprehensive and Transportation Plan Text amendments to the City of Yakima's Yakima Urban Area Comprehensive Plan and Transportation Plan 2025. These amendments are intended to provide a detailed description of the Yakima Revenue Development Area (YRDA), update information with regard to the relationship of the adoption of the YRDA, award of LIFT funding, update the Regional Commercial Comprehensive Plan Designation description, and provide additional Goals and Policies to support further development of the YRDA. Proposed amendments authored and submitted jointly by: Yakima Resources and City of Yakima Planning Department.
