SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The Board of County Commissioners are scheduled to meet on Friday, February 26,
2010 to consider withdrawing their objections to the Washington Heights Annexation
which would have the effect of cancelling the planned hearing on March 5, 2010 by the
Yakima County Boundary Review Board to review the annexation.
A Report will be available to City Council as soon as possible. Pending the outcome of
the action by the Board of County Commissioners, City Council action may include
several options.
