Bill Lover was selected to serve as committee chair.
The 2010 committee tasks and assignments were reviewed:
• Evaluate establishment of Regional Parks District was removed from the list.
RCDR Report and Proposal
The Committee agreed to forward RCDR's $50,000 technical support request to the full
Council, and recommended approval.
CAPER 2009 report
The purpose and process of the Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report
(CAPER) was discussed.
Response to HUD monitoring
HUD requires the City's Citizen Participation Plan to be updated and adopted. Two public
meetings will be held in March and Council will be asked to adopt the plan.
Status update on Cosen House — 201 South 8th Street
The owner has received a construction permit from the City Codes Division with an
approximate value of $30,000. The one -year contract will expire in June 2010. The owner
may wish to address the Committee in the near future to request an extension.
Federal Legislative Priorities
The draft list of Federal Legislative Priorities was discussed.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Council Neighborhood Development
Committee will be Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. Code Enforcement Education
will be discussed at the March meeting.
