Deferral of Public Hearing on Development Agreement for Toscanna
The Yakima City Council had scheduled a Public. Hearing for September 15,
2009 regarding the proposed Development Agreement for the Toscanna
Project which consists of 66 lots for single family attached homes on private
streets, in the vicinity of Castlevale Road and Seattle Slew Drive. The
Council approved the Preliminary Plat on August 18, 2009. Due to the
private streets, a Development Agreement was a requirement for the project,
as recommended by the Hearing Examiner. The Examiner recommended
several changes to the draft Development Agreement that was presented to
the Hearing Examiner.. The applicant is working with their legal staff to
prepare a revised Development Agreement which will meet the Hearing
Examiner recommendations. When the revised Development Agreement is
submitted to the City, our Legal Division will review it. Planning staff will
then prepare a Set Date and the resulting Public Hearing City Council
41) packages.
