Awards will be presented to local businesses, individuals, and community leaders nominated by the Chamber Membership for 'Best Performances.' And .. . w'n o The Past Presidents of the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce that Dale Carpenter, General Manager of Yakima Theaters, is the Recipient of the 2009 Ted Robertson Community. Service Award. You are cordially invited to join us as we celebrate Dale at the Black and White Gala, for his selfless dedication and volunteer commitment to our community. • The Chamber will also be proudly celebrating the 116th Anniversary of the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1893. Nominees and Guests will be welcomed to the Chamber Awards at the Yakima Convention Center with a Red Carpet Reception, beginning at 5:30 p.m., with live music provided by the Greg Lyman Jazz Ensemble. Wine tasting will be hosted by: Bonair Winery, Cascade Wine Company, Eaton Hills Winery, Gilbert Cellars, Kana Winery, Piety Flats Winery, Severino Cellars, and Tim's Downtown Tasting Room. The Dinner service begins at 6:45 p.m., followed by the evening's program at 7:00 p.m., with our Master of Ceremonies, Spencer Hatton, Editor, and Michael Shepard, Publisher, of the Yakima Herald- Republic hosting the festivities. The top 3 Nominees for each Chamber Award category will be announced, followed by the Chamber Awards presentations, The Ted Robertson Award.
