SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Several years ago, a poster related to the movie The Hanging Tree, which was shot in the Yakima area
during the summer of 1958, was discovered in the basement of Yakima City Hall. The poster is being
donated to the Yakima Valley Museum, which boasts several other mementos from the movie that starred
Gary Cooper including a full-length print of the film.
