Public comment is limited to items on the agenda and may be made in person or by phone. Members of the public participating by telephone are encouraged to arrange to make public comments in advance of the meeting at https://www.yakimawa.gov/council/public-comment/by 3:00 pm the day of the meeting. For those who attend the meeting in person, the City is required to follow the Governor's Proclamation regarding face coverings. Every person entering City Hall, including those entering to attend a City Council meeting, are required to wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth at all times. Failure to wear a face covering will result in you being asked to leave the premises. Failure to leave the premises after being asked to do so by City staff is a misdemeanor violation of Yakima Municipal Code section 6.47.050. Masks will be available in the alcove at City Hall. The requirements are found in Governor's Proclamation 20-25.15, which adopts the Washington State Secretary of Health's face covering order 20-03.6. 1. Roll Call 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Project Completion and Contract Acceptance for Ken Leingang Excavating Inc- Avalanche Avenue & E Mead Ave Waterline Projects D. Resolution approving an annual agreement for legal advertising services with the Yakima Herald-Republic E. Resolution authorizing a third party integrated software agreement with Invoice Cloud for Merchant Services payment processing F. Resolution authorizing the write-off of certain uncollectable delinquent utility accounts receivable funds G. Resolution authorizing professional services contract with JUB Engineering on the Taxilane Charlie extension design and bidding project H. Resolution authorizing a sole source with PacWest Machinery for purchase of an Oil Distributor Resolution terminating the Standard Lease Renewal Agreement with Viacom Outdoor J. Ordinance adopting City of Yakima Investment Policy 3-700 7. Public Comment Community members are invited to address items listed on the meeting agenda. There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half (2.5) minutes per speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Council General Information Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker. A Council packet is available for review at the City Clerk's Office and on-line at www.yakimawa.gov. The City provides special accommodations, such as heating devices, wheelchair space or language interpreters, for City meetings.
