SUBJECT: Citizen Complaint- Mrs. Candi Turner
Weedy Lot- S 80 Ave. from Nob Hill to Wide Hollow
Code Compliance received this citizen complaint from the council meeting on 09-
15 -09. After conducting a site visit, it was determined that the lot on the SE
corner belongs the Yakima County but is in the city limits. Communicating with
Yakima County on this complaint, they will cut this area during the week of
October 5th
th Avenue, from Nob Hill to Wide Hollow, the east side of S. 80 A , Yakima Public
Works sent a crew to address the area of concern and abated the violation. The
west side of S. 80 Avenue is in the jurisdiction of Yakima County with no
enforcement ability from the City of Yakima.
Also, on Nob Hill from S8Oth Avenue going to the east, the mobile court was
notified to address their adjacent property, which they did.

Chris asked me to let you know what we did to take care of the weeds along 80th Ave between Wide Hollow and
Nob Hill. We had a crew out there on Sept 24 using a brush hog on a telescoping arm. They mowed what they
could reach along the barrow ditch on the east side of the road. The lot at the corner that was reported as
overgrown belongs to Yakima County.
