ITEM TITLE: Set dates of Public Hearings for March 2 and March 23, 2010, on the Citizen
Participation Policy.

• SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
. HUD requires participating jurisdictions receiving CDBG and HOME funding to have in place an
adopted Citizen Participation Policy. The City is required to hold two public hearings to accept
comments on the proposed Citizen Participation Policy. This item sets the first public hearing
date for March 2, 2010, and the second public hearing date for March 23, 2010 on the proposed
draft of the Citizen Participation Policy.
