ITEM TITLE: Set date of November 1, 2021 for a public hearing to consider an
ordinance to amend Yakima Municipal Code 7.64.040, Stormwater
tax

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
On October 14, 2021, City Council directed staff to fund the Clean City Fund in an additional
amount of$423,500.00. Funding for the Clean City Fund may be made through an increase in
the stormwater tax from 15% to 20%. This hearing is to gather public input regarding the
ordinance change.
