1. Roll Call
Present: Mayor Patricia Byers, presiding and Councilmembers Kay Funk(present at 5:09
p.m.)and Eliana Macias
Staff: City Manager Robert Harrison, Yakima Air Terminal Director Robert Peterson, Senior
Assistant City Attorney Ryan Bleek, Chief Murray, Lt. Janis, and City Clerk Sonya Claar Tee
Absent: Councilmembers Brad Hill (excused) and Soneya Lund (excused), Assistant Mayor
Holly Cousens and Councilmember and Jason White
Guest: Bob Stowe with Stowe Development& Strategies
A quorum was not present at the time of the meeting and the City Council study session was
cancelled at 5:04 p.m.A report regarding the Build Back Better Grant and a legislative update
on police reform was provided to the three Council members present.
