Items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion
without discussion. A citizen or Council member may request to remove an item from the
Consent Agenda and, if approved, it will be placed on the regular agenda for discussion and
consideration.
A. 2013 3rd Quarter Capital Improvement Projects Report.
B. Final Contract Payment for Paragon Northwest, LLC - William 0 Douglas
Powerhouse Trail Connector (Standard Motion V -B -Accept the project and
approve the final payment)
C. Final Contract Payment for Granite Construction, Inc. - Project AS2272 Nob
Hill Blvd 49th - 64th Ave. (Standard Motion V -B — Accept the project and
approve the final payment).
D. Resolution accepting and authorizing the City of Yakima's 2014 assessment
from the Yakima Valley Conference of Governments.
E. Second reading of an Ordinance amending the 2013 budget for the City of
Yakima; and making appropriations from Unappropriated Fund Balances
within various Funds for expenditure during 2013 as noted in the schedule
attached.
7. Audience Participation
Community members are invited to address items that are not listed on the regular business
meeting agenda. A guideline of three (3) minutes per speaker is in place in order to allow as
much opportunity as possible for audience participation. A speaker's time may be extended at
the discretion of the Mayor and/or the consensus or vote of the Council. Written
communication and e-mail messages are strongly encouraged.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
8. A. Final Public Hearing on the proposed 2014 Revenue and Expenditure Budget
for the City of Yakima, and; B. Ordinance adopting a budget for the City of Yakima
for 2014.
CITY MANAGER REPORTS
9. Quarterly Gang Free Initiative report.
10. Other Business
A. Memo from Codes Manager/Fire Marshall Caruso and additional information
re the Breed Specific Law received on November 13, 2013 and distributed at
November 12, 2013 Council Study Session.
11. Adjournment
The next meeting will be a Council Business Meeting on December 10, 2013 at 10 a.m. in
the Council Chambers.

A. Council General Information
Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall
be the voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The
views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed
or approved by the Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or
views of this, or any other speaker.
A Council packet is available for review at the City Clerk's Office and the Library.
A packet is also available on-line at www.yakimawa.gov.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space
or language interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please
