CITY COUNCIL EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Council does not have an Executive
Session on Tuesday, September 17 th . The regular business meeting will begin at
6:00 p.m.
COUNCIL BUILT ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE MEETING: This Committee
(Lover, Coffey) is meeting on Thursday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the 2nd Floor
Conference Room.
CITY MANAGER LEAVE: I will be out of the office on Thursday, September 19 and
Friday, September 20. Chief Willson will be the Acting City Manager in my absence.

I'm excited to let you know that AWC will hold a Regional Meeting at the Holiday Inn Yakima on October 16 from 6 to 8pm. As host city
mayor, I invite you to give a brief welcome to attendees at the beginning of the meeting.
AWC's Regional Meetings provide an excellent opportunity for city members to come together regionally to connect, share and discuss
important issues. In addition to providing a legislative update, we will facilitate a conversation about how we can better engage our citizens in
understanding the importance of local government work.
Please mark your calendar now and share this date with your council members and other city leaders in your area. More information and
registration can be found online at 2013 Regional Meetings.
