`K�REAS, the Constitution of the vnitedStates ofAmerica, the
guardian of our liberties, embodies the principles of limitedgovernment in a
Republic dedicated to rule by law; and
`K�REAS, September 17, 2013, marks the two hundred twenty- si.-th
anniversary of the framing of the Constitution of the vnitedStates ofAmerica by
the Constitutional Convention; and
-'P AREAS, public law 915 guarantees the issuing of a proclamation each
year by the Resident of the vnitedStates ofAmerica designating September 17
through 23 as Constitution Week.
NOW TYN EFOcIZE, I, Micah Cawley, Mayor of the City of Takima and
on behalf of the City Council, do hereby proclaim the week of Septembers 17
through 23, 2013 as

and askour citizens to reaffirm the ideals the Framers of the Constitution had in
1787 by vigilantly protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us through this guardian
Of our liberties.
