Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 30th,. 1933 and adjourned meeting thereof,:be approved as read: carried, Stratton Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the application of D. L. Dillon for permission to operate three card tables at No. 10 South First Street is hereby rejected: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor: Street Dept. $857.75; Cemetery $72.00; Cemetery Care $2.00 and. Water Dept. $105.00: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark vot- ing aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -60, WHEREAS, by Ordinance it is provided that on the first Monday in February of each- year, the City Commission' shall pass a resolution prescribing the form of contract for the City Advertising for the ensuing year. NOW, THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City of Yakima, that the form of contract for the city advertising for the ensuing year shall be in substantially the form hereto attached and made a part hereof, and the City Clerk is directed to give notice for sealed proposals for a contract for doing the city adver- tising for the ensuing year by publishing the same in the newspaper doing the city adver- tising, for two successive issues, which notice shall contain a general statement of the terms of the contract to be let, .together with, the time and place when said bids will be opened, and providing that any and all bids may be rejected.
