The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Washb
and. -Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
December 19th, 1932 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Stratton
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the resignation of J. C. Liggett, Sergeant;of
Police, to take effect at midnight, December 31, 1932, is hereby accepted: carried,;
Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.

Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to ad -;
vertise for bids for the disposition of garbage and ashes for the term commencing Feb-.
ruary 1st, 1933, and ending March 31st, 1936; said bids to be received on Thursday, Jan-
uary 12th, 1933 at 10 o'clock A. M: .carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call.

City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor as follows: Street Dept. $956.63;
Cemetery Care $$160.00; Parks $9.00; Trimming Trees x$248.00 and Water x$83.00: carried,

Moved by Washburn, seconded.by Clark that Warrant No. 6747, dated July 15; 1931, in
the sum of x$1.50, payable to Geo. Ward out of the Water fund, and Warrant No. -5135, I
dated ' January 18, 1932, in the * sum of x$2.20, payable to Lucy Peterson, ' out of ' the
Current Expense fund, be and the same are hereby cancelled: carried, Stratton, Wash;.
burn and Clark voting aye on roll.call.
ORDI.wm— N0. B -45, entitled, "An Ordinance authorizing the City Treasurer to execute
release and satisfaction of judgments in foreclosure proceedings of Local Improvement'
Districts in cases where said judgment has been paid to the Treasurer after the entry of
the judgment and before sale," was introduced by Washburn and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -45 be passed to its seebndj
reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye onj
roll call.

RESOLUTION NO. C -57, A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a
Satisfaction of Judgment on behalf of the City of Yakima on Lot 1, Block 147, Eastern
Addition to North Yakima, (now Yakima).
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima, a municipal corporation, obtained j
judgment in the Superior Court of the State of Washington, in and for Yakima County, lin
the sum of $20.06, together with accrued costs, against Lot 1, Block 147, Eastern Ad
dition to North Yakima, (now Yakima,)', and
i
WHEREAS, said sum, together with accrued costs has been paid._
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA, that the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Satisfaction of Judgment against
Lot 1, Block 147, Eastern Addition to North Yakima, .(now Yakima), as aforesaid, on be,'-
half of said City of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, SIGNED and APPROVED this 27th day
of December, 1932.
