Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, November 21st_, 1932 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye_ on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that the application of Dawson Bros. for a li- cense to collect swill in the City of Yakima is hereby granted, pending compliance of the requirements of Ordinance No. A -1207: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.. ORDINANCE NO. B -41, entitled, "An Ordinance providing for-the.-settlement of the case of Helen Faringer and Floyd Faringer, wife and husband, plaintiffs, vs. City of Yakima, a municipal corporation, et al.',-defendants, Cause No. 25967, in The Superior Court of Yakima County, Washington, and authorizing the issuance of a warrant in settlement of said.suit," was:.introduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No:. B -41 be passed' to' its second reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -41 be. passed to' its third read- ing and read in full: carried, Stratton,. Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that'the City Clerk is hereby instructed to issue a warrant on the Accident Fund in the sum of $250.00 in full settlement of the claim of Helen Faringer and Floyd Faringer vs. the City of Yakima: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ' Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that the following payrolls be- allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor: Street Dept. $958.00; Cemetery $88.00; Cemetery Care $142.00 and Parks $208.00: carried, Stratton, Washburn and•Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO'. 0-55, A RESOLUTION authorizing the release of that certain claim filed by the City of Yakima for damages to a Police motorcycle. WHEREAS, the City of - Yakima has heretofore filed a - claim in the sum of $72.59 for damages sustained to one 6f "the motorcycles operated by the Police Depart- ment of the City of Yakima, and YHEREAS, said claim has" been paid and satisfied: NOW, . THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY .OF YAKI MA : That the Mayor aril Clerk of the City of Yakima are hereby authorized to execute a release of said claim in the sum of $72.59 on behalf of said City of _Yakima.
