Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon- day, October 31st, 1932, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton_, seconded by Washburn that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give notice to bidders for 1000 feet, more or less, of 22 inch cotton rubber lined double jacket fire hose; and 300 feet, more or less, of 12 inch cotton rubber lined double Jacket fire hose; said bids to be received on Wednesday, December 7th, lg32 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded-by Stratton that this being .the time for receiving bids for ' grading and leveling Block 177, the following-were received: R. C. Campbell $593.39 H. H. Huston_ 605.50 'Leo S. Ross 593°39 Redmon & Turner 35.96 The bid of Redmon & Turner in the sum of $435.96 being the lowest and best bid, said.contract is hereby awarded to them and the Mayor and. City Clerk au- thorized to enter into a contract on behalf of said City upon the filing of the proper . bond therefor: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. 0-53, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of the East 91 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Block 13, Original Town of North Yakima (now Yakima) on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the East 91 feet of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 13, of the Original Town of North Yakima (now Yakima), Yakima County, Washington, and has negotiated the sale of said property to Standard Stations, Inc., a Delaware corporation, in' the sum of $12,000.00, which sum is to be paid in cash by said corporation; and WHEREAS, said Standard Stations, Inc. a Delaware corporation wishes to purchase said above described property for the stun of $12,000.00 cash on condition'; that it be given not to exceed thirty days for the approval and ratification of said sale by its attorneys; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE. CITY OF YAKI11A : That the Mayor and City Clerk are. hereby authorized to exedute a, warranty deed on behalf of the City of Yakima, a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, for the East 91 feet of Lots 1, 2 3 and 4, Block 13, of the Original Town of North Yakima (now Yakima) in Yakima County, as aforesaid, to be delivered to the Standard Stations, Inc., a Delaware corporation, upon the completion of the necessary proceedings in connection with the sale of said property, and the payment to said. city of the purchas price as above set forth.
