The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark -oresent on roll call.
Moved by Stratton,'seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
October 24th,.1932 be approved as read: carried., Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting
aye_ on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that upon recommendation of Harold Robinson,
Chief of Police, that Gerald Hamper be dismissed from the Police Department; it is or-
dered that said dismissal be approved, and the services of said Hamper discontinued as
of October 30th, 1932: carried, Stratton, Washburn and. Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDITNTANCE -N0. B -40, entitled,; "An Ordinance providing for the settlement of the ease of
Ralph W. Moore and Florence Moore, husband and wife, plaintiffs, v. City of Yakima, a
municipal corporation, defendant, Cause No. 26004, in the Superior Court of Yakima
County, Washington, and authorizing the issuance of a warrant in settlement of said suit,
was introduced by Stratton and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by. Washburn that Ordinance No. B -40 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call..

Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor: Street Dept. $1068.00; Park Dept.
$33 .00; Cemetery $96.00 and Cemetery Care $150.00: carried, Stratton, Washburn and
Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that.we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday, November
lst, 1932 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried., . Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
