The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by-Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
September 19th, 1932 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting
aye. on roll call.
A:ioved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the request of the Howard S. Wright Co, Inc)
for a refund of $329.99 on its building permit for the construction of the Naches Hotel
at East Yakima Avenue. and South Fburth Street is hereby denied: carried, Stratton, Wash-
burn and Clark voting aye on roll cell.
ORDINANCE NO. B -38, entitled, "An Ordinance for the purpose of raising revenue, licens-
ing and regulating athletic contests and exhibitions, fixing the amount of said license
fee, providing for the appointment of an Athletic Commission, fixing their duties and au-
thority, providing penalties for the violation thereof, repealing that part.of Ordinance
No. A -521 in conflict herewith and declaring an emergency ", introduced by Stratton and
read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -38 be passed to its second j.
reading and. read by title.only: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clerk voting aye on
roll call. -
Moved by Clark, seconded .by .!.Mashburn that Ordinance No. B -38 be passed to, .its third

Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No.-B-38 be passed as finally read:
carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on mll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded.by Clark that John C.'Lampert, Jack Shrader and Ernest
Schneider be appointed as members of the Athletic Commission, to serve one, two and
three years respectively, or during the pleasure of the City Commission:. carried,
Stratton, 'Mashburn and Clerk voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following claims be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefore: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark
voting aye on roll call.

call.
