The City Commission met in regular session, Commissioners Washburn and Clark present on
roll.call, Mayor Stratton absent.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by.Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
August let,.1932.be approved as read: carried, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call, Stratton absent.
RESOLUTION N0: C -46, WHEREAS, Article 111 of Ordinance No. A -1228, passed by the City
Commission of the City of Yakima, on the 22nd day of September 1930, provided among other
things that the City Commission determine and designate traffic signs and signals to be
placed upon the streets and alleys of said city, subsequent to the passage of said. orj
dinance, and -
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable by the City Commission to remove
the "No Left Turn" signs now located, on the automatic traffic signals at the intersec-
tions of First, Second and- Third Streets with Yakima Avenue, in the City of Yakima, Wash-
ington;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Yakima, that "No Left
Turn" signs now located on the automatic traffic signals at the intersections of Firs,
Second and Third. Streets with Yakima Avenue, in the City of Yakima, Washington, be rei-
moved, and "Left" turns but no f0U" turns shall hereafter be permitted at said intersec-
tions.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 1st day of August, 1932.

`RESOLUTION NO. C -47, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of the following described real
property situated in Yakima, Yakima County, State of Washington, to"wit:' Beginning at
a point on the South line of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section
19, To 13 North, Range 19, E.W*M., 40 feet west of the Southeast corner thereof;
thence north along the west line of South Third Street 430.22 feet to the south line of
Adams Avenue; thence west along the south line of Adams Avenue 283.23 feet to the east
line of South Second Street;'thence southeasterly along the-east line of South Second
Street 455.62 feet to the south line of said subdivision; thence east along the south
line of said subdivision 133.78 feet to the point of beginning. Also beginning at a
point on the north line of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 30,
Township 13 North, Range 19 E.W.M., 40 feet west of the northeast corner thereof; thence
southeasterly to a point 30 feet west and 30 feet south of said northeast corner; thence
south along the east line of South Third Street 329,69 feet to its intersection with the
east line of South Second Street; thence northwesterly along the east line of South Sec-
ond Street 363.43 feet to a point 30 feet south of the north line of said subdivision;
thence northeasterly to a point on said north line 173.78 feet west of the northeast cor-
ner of said subdivision; thence east along said north line 133.78 feet to beginning, to
H. L. LISTON and EVA M. LISTON, husband and wife.-
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the-following descri
real property situated in Yakima, Yakima, County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the south line of the South-
east Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 19, Township
13 North, Range 19, E.W.M., 40 feet west of the southeast
corner thereof; thence north along the west line of South
Third Street 430.22 feet to the south line of Adams Avenue;
thence west along the south line of Adams Avenue 293.23 feet
to the east line of South Second Street; thence southeasterly
along the ea -t line of South Second Street 455.62 feet to the
south line of said subdivision; thence east along the south
line of said subdivision 133.78 feet to the point of beginning.
Also beginning at a point on the north line of the Northeast
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 13
North, Range 19, EW.M., 40 feet west of the northeast corner
thereof; thence southeasterly,to a point 30 feet west and 30

WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to H. -L. LISTON and EVA M. LISTON, husband and wife, upon
the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHSNGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby authorized
to be sold to H. L. LISTON and EVA M. LISTON, husband and wife, for the total sum of
Six Thousand and 00/100 ($6,000.00) Dollars, payable as follows: the sum of Five Hundred
and 00 /100 (500.00) Dollars in cash upon the.execution of the contract herein authorized
and. th a balance of Five Thousand Five Hundred and 00 /100 ($5,500-00) Dollars in monthly
payments as follows:

The purchasers under said contract shall have the option to pay said
purchase price in full at any time and upon such payment being made they shall receive
a deed to said property."
The purchasers under said contrac.t shall also agree to assume all unpaid
assessments against said property and shall also.agree to pay all assessments against
said premises falling due under any Local Improvement District or Districts hereafter
created or arising from levies hereafter placed against said premises, and the Mayor
and City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
in duplicate with said purchasers under the terms hereinabove set forth.
Said agreement to be entered into shall also contain suitable provisions
requiring any buildings upon said premises to be.insured at the expense of the second
parties in a solvent insurance company satisfactory to first party as its interest may
appear and shall contain a provision that in case of destruction of or damage to any
buildings or improvements on said premises such damage or loss shall be the loss of sec-
ond parties and shall not be a ground for rescission of said contract; and said contract
shall also contain a suitable provision providing that said first party may at all times
have the right of ingress and egress upon.said premises for the purpose of repairing and
maintaining such sever,, ryvater and irrigation pipes that may be now installed_ and in oper-
ation upon said property. Said contract.shall also contain a suitable provision provid-
ing for forfeiture thereof upon failure of second parties to make any payment of princi-
pal, interest, taxes.or assessments therein provided for when same shall become due or
delinquent, notice of such forfeiture to be for 30 days and service thereof to be by,
serving same personally upon second parties or by mailingto them at Yakima, Washington,
and a further provision shall be placed therein that upon final payment of said principal
and interest and taxes and assessments the first party shall convey said premises to
second parties by a good and sufficient Warranty Deed condeying all the interest of said
City.of Yakima in said premises; and the further. provision shall be contained in said
contract against the assignment of second parties without the..consent =of first party had
and obtained.
