The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of
Monday, February 29, 1932 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and. Clark
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the application of Wm. Harrington for transfer
of License Nos. 509 and 509 heretofore issued to A. Van Diest for operating card tables
and ,pool tables at No. 214 East Yakima Avenue to Harrington's Recreation Parlours is
hereby granted: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the application of A. A. Brewer for permission
to construct a service station on South Fourth Street juat north of the Y. M. C. A.
building is hereby granted: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call..
Voved by Clark, seconded -by 'Mashburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as'follows: Street Dept. $940.00; Park Dept.
$52.00; Cemetery $$150.00,; Trimming Trees $$32.00 and Water Dept. 1906:50: carried,
Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -28, entitled, "An Ordinance relating to the regulating of the use of
irrigation water in the 'Nest Yakima Irrigation System, being Local Improvement District
No. 395, and providing a penalty for violation thereof," was introduced., by Clark and
read by the City Clerk.
