Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January,25th, 1932 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting, aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn , seconded by Stratton that the following warrants be cancelled: carried., Stratton, Washburn and Clark votin aye on roll call: Current Expense Fund,; Warrant No. 22342, $2.20; Warrant- -N6. 369, 16.95; Park Fund, Warrant No. 337, $1.11; , Warrant No. 2965, $22.49; Cemetery Fund,.Warrant No. 2951, $23.50 and Firemen's Relief & Pension Fund, Warrant No. 5151, $77.50. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Stratton that the payrolls for the month of January, 1932 be approved and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor as follows: carried Stratton, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call; Various Dept. $2,133.31; Health , Dept. $1,756.66; Fire Dept. $5,153.33; Police Dept. $3,743.16; Engineering Dept.$1,,250.00 Library $722.45; Miscellaneous Dept. $1,132.07; Water Dept. $3,465.32. RESOLUTION NO C -35, WHEREAS, by Ordinance it is provided that on the first Monday in February of each year, the City Commission shall pass a resolution prescribing the form of contract for the City Advertising for the ensuing year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,-by the City Commission of the City of Yakima, that the form of contract for the city advertising for the ensuing year be in substantially the form hereto attached and made a part hereof, and the City Clerk;is hereby directed to give notice for sealed proposals for a contract for doing the city advertising for the ensuing year by publishing the same in the newspaper doing the city advertising, for two successive issues, which notice shall contain a general statement of the temrs of the contract to be let, together with the time and place when said bills will be open, and providing that any and all bids may be rejected.
