Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon- day, December 22, 1930 be approved as.read; carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.-.- RESOLUTION NO. B -1170, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the city commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, that in compliance with a request heretofore received from the Yaki?na Central Heating Company requesting that the interpretation by the present City Commission of Section 8 of Ordinance 694 be construed by them as requiring the $5000.00 bond only in the event of new construction of.said heating system: Ordinance 694 shall be City from such loss or streets during the con its terms operate as a and. BE IT RESOLVED and is that t he damage as might struction of the continuing bond that the interpretation of said Section 8 of purpose of said $5000.00 bond is to protect the result from the extensive tearing up of city heating system and that said bond does not by or a maintenance bond, nor was it so intended; IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the city should.reserve and does hereby reserve the right to require a bond for any expensive tearing up of side walks or streets for repair if in the J..udgment of the city commission it is necessary ,for the Protection of the city that such bond be then required. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1263 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub, voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1263 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1263 be passed as finally read: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. A -1264, entitled, "An Ordinance fixing the time of delinquency of the assessments levied for the payment of the cost and expense of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 489, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Traub and read by'the City Clerk. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1264 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, secondedby Clark that Ordinance No. A -1264 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1264 be passed as finally read: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the payrolls for the month of December, 1930 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor: carried, Stratton, Clerk and Traub voting aye on roll call.
