Loved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, November 24th, 1930 be approved as read:. carried; Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.. Loved by Traub, seconded by Clark that the application of J. M. DeBlasio, Contractor, for an extension of time for paving the alley in Block 33, Local - Improvement District No..492 to April 1, 1930 be granted, and -the consent of -the Bonding Co. filed with the City Clerk: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Traub that the City Engineer having reported the comple- tion of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 493, by the Contractor, J.M. DeBlasio, in the sum of $456.80, said work is hereby accepted and-the-City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk authorized to'give notice of hearing on'said roll for`Monday, December 22nd, 1930 at 9 o'clock A.M.: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the assess- ment roll in Local Improvement District No. 490 and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said assessment•r oll or any part thereof, it is- ordered that the ordin- ance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as finally read: carried:, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. A =1255, entitled, " An Ordinance confirming the a.sse8sment m11 .,covering Local Improvement District No. 490., as created and established by , rdinance No. A -1231 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima, " was introduced by Traub and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1255 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A-1255 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting,aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton,, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A-1255 be passed as finally read: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. A-1256,-entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima,'Washington, by the construction of a sewer, establishing a Local Improvement District,-poviding for the method of payment therefor and creating a spec- ial- fund," was introduced by Traub and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A -1256 be passed to its second reading and read by. title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. A-1256 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give notice to contractors-by publication as required by law for constructing a sewer along Blocks 164 and 16 , and Lots 9 and 10, Block 166 of College Addition in Local Improvement Dis- trict No. 95; said bids to be received on Monday, December 15th, 1930 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the payrolls for the month of November 1930 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Dept. $1,969.96; Police Dept. $3,723.33; Health Dept. ?1,931.66; Engineering Dept.. X1,505.60; Fixes_ Estimate Dept. $350.00; Irrigation Dept. $333.32; Cemetery $135..00; Park $150.00; F.H. & P.
