The-City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioner Clark pres-
ent on roll call, Traub absent.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,.
November 10th, 1930 be adopted as read: carried, Stratton and Clark voting aye on roll
call, Traub absent.
Moved by Clam, seconded by Stratton that this being the time for receiving -bids for
constructing a sewer on 19th and 20th Avenues South'in ,-Local Improvement District No.
494, the following were received;

The bid of R.. A. Geary in the sum of $$1, 21.7.00 being the lowest and
best bid said contract was awarded to him and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to
enter into a contract on behalf of the City upon the filing of the proper bond: carried,
Stratton and Clark voting aye on roll call, Traub absent.
Moved by Clark., seconded by Stratton that-the City Engineer having reported the comple-
tion of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 472, by the Contractor, Wilson
& DeBlasio, in the sum of x$22,194.70, said improvement is hereby accepted and the City
Engineer authorized to prepare and assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk
authorized to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, December 15th, 1970 at 9
o'clock A.M: carried, Stratton and Clark voting aye on roll call, Traub absent.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the application of Wong Ah Sing to operate
three card tables at 105 South Front Street be denied: carried, Stratton and Clark vot-
ing aye on roll cell, Traub absent.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the application of C. H. Cowell to operate one
pool table, one card table and a soft drink parlorzat l East Chestnut Street be granted
as to the operation of soft drinks and pool table, but no card table shall be allowed:
carried, Stratton and Clark voting aye on roll call, Traub absent.
ORDINANCE. NO. A -1247, entitled, °An-Ordi_hahce fixing the time of delinquency of the
assessments levied for-the paument of the cost and expense-of the improvement in Local
Improvement District No. 482., and providing for the issuance of•bonds with coupons at-
tached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof," was introduced.by Stratton and
read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that Ordinance No. A -1247 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton and Clark voting aye on roll call,
Traub absent.

ORDINANCE NO. A -1245, entitled, "An Ordinance fixing the time of delinquency of the

tached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Stratton and
read by the City Clerk.-

Moved by Clark, seconded. by Stratton that -this being the time for the hearing on the
Assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 459, and there being no protests in
writing or otherwise to said assessment roll or any part thereof, it is ordered that
the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be-passed as fin-
ally read: carried, Stratton and Clark voting aye on roll call, Traub absent.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1249, entitled, „ An Ordinance confirming the assessment mll covering
Local Improvement District No. 459, as created and established by Ordinance No. A -1230
of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Stratton and read by the
City Clerk.

ORDINANCE NO. A -1250, entitled, "An irdinance establishing the fire limits of the City of
Yakima, Washington, repealing Ordinance No. A -891 and all ordinances and parts of ordin-
ances in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by Stratton and
read by the City Clerk.

reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton and Clark voting aye on roll call.,

RESOLUTION NO. B -11661 A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale -of the.West Twenty -five (25) feet
of Lot 6 and all of Lot 7 Pleasantview Addition to Yakima,according t o':the official plat
thereof recorded and filed in the Auditor's Office of Yakima County, Washington, to CECIL
H. STEWARD and MAY STEWARD, husband and wife.
WHEREAS;.the City of Yakima is now the owner of the following des-
cribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -:pit:
The West Twenty -five (25) feet of Lot 6
and all of Lot 7 Pleasantview Addition
to Yakima, according to the official
.plat thereof now on file and of record
in the office of the Auditor of Yakima
County, Washington,
by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, Yakima County,
State of Washington, on sale of said property fordelinquent assessments, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to CECIL H. STEWARD and MAY STEWARD, husband and wife.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKIM:A. WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby authori-
zed to be sold to CECIL H. STEWARD and MAY STEWARD, husband and wife, for the total sum
of One Hundred Sisty -two and 26/100 ($162.26) Dollars, and the Mayor, W. W. STRATTON is
hereby authorized to.execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, PEARL BENJAMIN

WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is now the owner of the following des-
