Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon-
day., October 20th, 1930 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Clark-and Traub vat-
ing aye on roll call:
Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that this being the time and place for the hearing
on Resolution No. B -1160 for improveing 19th Avenue South "from Division•Str-eet to a,
point approximately.18 -6 feet north of Maclaren Street to a point approximately 36 feet
north of Maclaren Street by the construction of a sewer, and, there being no protests
in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part ithereof, it is ordered that
the.ordinance creating a local.i.mprovement district be laid on the table,for one week;
carried, Stratton, Clark and. Traub voting aye on roil call.

ORDINANCE NO. A -1241, entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the construction of Port-
land cement concrete sidewalk upon certain streets in the City. of Yakima, establishing
a local improvement district, probiding a method of payment therefor and creating'a
special fund- ", was -introduced by'Traub. and. r-ead..by the City Clerk.

call.

be received on Monday, November 10th,.1930 at 10'o' clock A -M: carried, Stratton,
Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Traub that this being the time for: the hearing on t he
assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 487 and there being no protests in
writing or otherwise to said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that
the ordinance confirming'said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as fi-
nally read: carried, Stratton, Clarkand Traub voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1242, entitled, "An Ordinance confirming the assessment roll covering
Local Improvement District No. 487, as created and established by Ordinance.No. A -1226
of the Ordinances of the City of Yakirfia.""; was introduced by Traub and read by the City
Clerk.

RESOLUTION NO. B -1162, jT EREAS, Article 111, of Ordinance No. A ®1228, passed by the
City Commission of the City of Yakima, -on the 22nd. day of September 1930, prescribed
among other things that the City Commission determine and designate the character,
type and location of all official traffic signs and signals to be placed upon the
streets and alleys of said City, subsequent to-'the passage of such ordinance, and
,=RrEAS' it is deemed expedient by the City Commission to re-
move the traffic signal at the intersection of West Yakima Avenue and Second Avenue
in said city, and place it al, the intersection of East Yakima Avenue and Fourth Street
in said city;

NOWT THEREFORE, �; ' IT RESOLVED, by the 'City "Commission ,of the City of Yakima;
,iashington, that said signal so removed from the intersection of West Yakima Avenue
and Second Avenue and, placed at the, intersection of East .Yakima Avenue and Fourth
Street, be designated. as an official traffic signal and shall be operated and con
trolled in the'same manner as other traffic signals now in operation on Yakima "Avenue.
