The. City-Commission met in regular session, ]`Mayor Stratton, and .Commissoners. Clark
and. .Traub Present on roll call.
:Move? by Stratton, seconded. 'by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of blon-
d.ay, October 6th, 1930 be approved as read.: carried., Stratton, Clark and Traub voting
aye on roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by _Clark that the City Engineer having reported the comple-
tion of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 480,by the Contractor, R. A.
Geary, in the surd of $589.75, said work is hereby accepted and the.City Engineer
authorized. to prepare an assessment roll therefor and. the City Clerk :authorized to give
notice of hearing on said roll for lilond.ay, November 3rd, 1930 at 9 o'clock A.TA: carried
Stratton, Clark and Traub voting.aye on roll call.
Loved: by Traub, -seconded by C1arI: that the City Engineer ,having reported the .comple-
tion of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 481 by the contractor, R. A.
Geary, in the sum of $5,500-54, said work is hereby accepted and the City .Engineer
authorized. to prepare an assessment roll for said district and. the City Clerk authorized
t,o give notice of hearing on said roll for 11onday, Noveriiber 3rd, 1930 at 9 o'clock A.H:

Moved by Traub, seconded by C -lark that the bond of J. M. DeBlasio, Contractor in Local
improvement District No. 489 in,the sum of $810-00 is hereby approved and filed with
the City Clerk: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that the bond. of Nick Ban, Contractor in Local Im-
provement District No. 488 in the sum of $5,371.10 is hereby approved and filed with
the City Clerk; carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1237, entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of certain
streets in the City of Yakima,_ Washington, by grading and paving the same with a one
course Portland cemment concrete pavement and by constructing the necessary sewer con -
neetions, etc., establishing a Local Improvement.Distriet, providing a method of pay -
ment therefor 'and •c�reat.... a special fund", was, introduced by Traub and read by the
City Clerk.

ORDINANCE NO. A -1238, entitled; "An Ordinance confirming.the assessment roll covering
Local Improvement District No. 486, as created and established by Ordinance No. A -1221
of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima",-was introduced by Traub .and read by the City

Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that the bond of Midstate Contract Company, Contrac-
tor, in Local Improvement District No. 490, in the sum of $1,302,.85 is hereby approv-
ed and filed with the City Clerk: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded.by Clark that the application of the.Associated Oil Co. to
construct a Junior Service.S.tation on the property that is occupied by the Huston &
Owens Fuel Co. at 701 N...lst? Avenue be granted: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub vot-
ing aye on roll call.,
ORDINANCE NO. A -1236, entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the construction of Port-
land cement concrete sidewalk upon certain streets in the City of Yakima, establishing'
a local improvement district, providing a method of payment therefor a ndcreating a
special fund "; was introduced by Traub and read by the City Clerk.

and reading and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on
roll call.
