structing a sidei,,ialk on South. 3rd. Street and. Broadway, in Local Improvement District
No. 490, the follo,aring were received: 117m. McCulloch, $1,443.88; J. 11J. DeBllsio $1,410.

state Contract Co. $873.00;.R. A. Geary 830.25; J.i�,i.DeBlasio x$810.00. The Bid of J.
1. DeBlasio in the sum of $810.00 being the lowest and best bid said contract was a-
warded to him and. the ivla.yor and. City Clerk authorized to execute a contract on behalf
of said. City upon the filing of the proper bond as required. by law: carried., Stratton,
Clark and. Traub voting aye on roll call .'-

constructing a se* ,ver on South. First Street in Local Improvement District No. 488, the

RESOLUTION NO. B -1160, BE' IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COTJ2,!1ISSI0I \T OF THE CITY OF
ijASHINGTON :
That it is the intention of said City Commission of the City of
Yakima, ,Washington, to improve Nineteenth Avenue South from Division Street to a point
approximately 186 feet north of Ma- claren Street; and. also to improve Twentieth Avenue
South from Division Street to a point approximately 36 feet north of- IvTaclaren Street,
all in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a pipe sewer si,- 'inches
in diameter,.together with the necessary wye branches, manholes and flush tanks, and.
by doing all such other work as -may be necessary in connection tnerewit'h; allin ac-
cordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared b;, the City Engin-
ee.r and to be filed with the City Cleric.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed. improve-
ment are hereby; notified. to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the
City Commission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building, in the City of
Yakima, u- 'ashin -ton, at; the hour of 9:00 o'clock A.i!T., on _lJonday, the 27th. day of Oc-
tober, 1930, which time and place are hereby fixed. -for the hearing of all matters re-
lating to said proposed. i_iprovement, all objections thereto anti. for determining the
method of payment therefor, -_and. the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice
.of said hearing and. the intention to hake the aforesaid.Vimprovement.
The cost and. expense of said i:proveirent shall. be borne by and
assessed against all of the property legally and, properly assessable therefor, as pro-
vided. by laser, anal. the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission,
at or prior to the time fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other in-
fromation required. by lake to be submitted by him.
