The City Commission. met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Clark and Traub present on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon- day, September 22, 1930 be approved as read: carried, Stratton, Claris and. Traub vot- ing aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO.. B -1159, -BE IT RESOLVED BY TIEI CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIAVA, `ffASHINGTON: That it is the intention of the City Commission of the City of Yakima, V;'ashington, •to - improve Ninth Avenue South, from west Walnut Street to Vilest Spruce Street, in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of"a Portalnd cement concrete sidewalk, six feet in width, along the east side thereof:; and by do- ing all such other work as may be necessary in.connection therewith, all in accordance with plans and. specifications therefor to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to.said proposed-improve- ment are hereby notified -to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to be held. at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima, Washington, at the hour of nine o'clock A.L., on Monday, the 20th day of October, 1930, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said. proposed improvement or objections thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor and. the City Clerk is hereby directed. 'to give due notice -,of said. hearing• and of the intention to make the aforesaid. imi�rovement. The costs-and expense of said.-improvement shall be borne by and, assessed against all of the property legally and, properly assessable therefor, as provided. by law, and. the City Engineer is hereby directed. to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said. hearing, all of the data and other information required. by law to be submitted by him.
