pletion of the "improvement in Local Improvement' District Yo. 485 b.,,, the Contractor, R'.
A.' Geary, in the sum of $4,380.85, said work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer
authorized. to prepare an assessment roll therefor and 'the 'City Clerk authorized to give

of the improvement in Local Improvement District 478 by the Contractor, I .1Iidstate Contras
Co. in the sum of $a34, 327.58, said work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer author
ized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to
give notice of hearing on said roll far Zuesday, October 14 ,h41930 at 9 O'clock A -M:
carried, Stratton; Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.

Moved by Traub', seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution
Na. B-1149 for the construction of a sewer on property bounded on the North by Pacific
Avenue, on the East by South lst Street, on the South by Lenox Avenue and on the West by
the Easterly line of the Northern Pacific Rail -day Co's right of .Way', and there being no
orotests'in writing or otherwise to said. improvement or any part thereof, it is ordered
that the'ordinance creating a Local Improvement' District be laid on the table for one
week: carried, Stratton, 'Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Traub,- seconded by'Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resoluti.,on
No.. B- 1150' for constructing a sidewalk on South 4th Street from East Maple Street to
East Race Street and there being no protests in writing or othwewise to said improvement
or any part thereof, it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local irnlrover3ent -Dis-
trict be laid, on the 'table for one week: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye
on' roll call.

No. B -1151 for constructing a sidewalk on 3rd Avenue South and. Broadway, and. ;there being

RE-SOLUTION- NG. BE IT RESOLVED BY TI ,] CITY CO!&1ISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIWTA, "TASH
INGTON:
That it is the intention of the City Commi sion of the City of
Yakima, Washington, to improve' Queen Avenue from Division Street to Haynes Street, all
in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the const'ruct•ion of a Portland. cement concrete
sidewalk five feet in width 'along the east side' thereof; and 'b'y 'doing all such other
work as may be necessary "in- connection therewith,. all in accordance with plans and
specifications therefor to be prepared by the City Engineer and -to be filed with the
City Clerk.
A11 persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such 'objections at a meeting of the City
Commission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,
Washington, at the hour df nine O'clock A -1,1- , on - Monday, the 6th "day 'of October, 1930,
which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said
proposed improvement or objections thereto and for determining the method of payment
therefor and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and
of-the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.'
The costs and expense of saidimprovement shall. be borne by and
assessed against all of the property .legally and properly assessable therefor, as pro-
vided by law, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to.the City Commission,
at or prior to-the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data, and other infor-
mation required. by law to be submitted by him.

RESOLUTION N0. B -1155, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY .CO'!,CKISSION OF THE' CITY OF- YAKIMA,- -WASH
INGTON:
That it is the intention of the City Commission of the City of
Yakima., ffashington, to improve'- - the alley in Block 33, in the Original Town 'of Yakima,
from the .south line of East Walnut Street to the north line of East Spruce Street, by
grading and paving the same with a, one course Portland cement concrete pavement; twenty

feet in wid.th; by constructing six inch sewer connections; extending to the property
lines of all lots avutting upon each side of said alley that are not already connected
to the sewer in said alley; and by.doi,ng all such other work as may be necessary in con

therewith, all in-accordance with plans and. specifications therefor to be pre-
pared by-the City Engineer and. filed with the City Clerk.
