The City Commission met in regular session, 1VTayor Stratton and Commissioners Clark and
Traub present on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
Aug 25th, 1930 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Stratton,
Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the bids for coal submitted on Wednesday, Aug-
ust 27th, 1930 viere opened and read and all bids rejected. The City Clerk was authorized
to call for further bids on a different kind of coal to be received -on Friday, September
5th, 1930 at 9 o'clock A.1t+f: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. B -1152, A RESOLUTION authorizing! the sale of the North 150 feet of the
South 330 feet of the East 23 feet of the West 155 feet of the Southwest quarter (SWI) of
-the Southeast quarter (SEi-) of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range 18 E.W.-MT., to LEWIS
A. BUCKLIN and HATTIE K. BUCKLIN, husband and wife°
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is now the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
The North 150 feet of the South 330 feet
of-the East 23 feet of the West 155 feet
of - the. Southwest quarter (SV`r.4) of the
Southeast quarter (SE,1) of Section 13,
Township 13 North, Range 18 E.W.11. , and,
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of said City of
Yakima;to sell said premises to IaVIS A. BUCKLIN and HATTIE K. BUCKLIN, husband and wife.

That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-
ized. to be sold to LE1.11IS A. .BUCKLIN. and HATTIE K. BUCKLIN, husband and wife, for the tota
sum of Seventy -five and 00/100 ($75.00) Dollars_, and the b1ayor W. W. STRATTON,'is hereby
authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, PEARL BENJAI'V1IN is here
by authorized and. directed to attest the same for and on-behalf of the City of Yakima.

RESOLUTION NO. B -1153, 'ilERE'AS, there has been submitted to the City_Commission of the
City of Yakima, a budget covering the detailed estimate of all expenditures proposed to b
made by the City of Yakima for the ensuing fiscal year and a statement of the probable
revenue from sources other than taxation for the ensuing fiscal year, in the manner and
form prescribed by law; and.
ti'HEREAS, the same has been considered by the City Commission in
detail and such revisions,and additions made as has been deemed advisable:
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY comaSSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKI IrIA :
That the aforesaid budget be and the same is hereby adopted and
approved. as the budget for the City of Yakima for the ensuing fiscal year and the City
Clerk is hereby directed. to give notice that said budget has been - completed and placed on
file, and. a copy thereof will be furnished any taxpayer ,who will call at the office of
the City Clerk therefor, and that the City Commission of the City of Yakima will meet on
the first Monday in October, 1930, at the offices of the City Commission in said City at
the hour of 9 o'clock A -1J., for the purpose bf fixing the final budget and making the tax
levies and notifying any taxpayer that he may appear at said meeting and be heard for or
against any part of said budget, and said notice shall be published once each week for
two consecutive weeks immediately following the adoption of said. preliminary budget.
