carrying of passengers for hire by certain vehicles in the City of Yakima, providing for
the issuance and revocation of licenses, fixing penalties for the violation thereof, re-
pealing Ordinances in conflict herewith and declaring an emergency-' "e was introduced by

to give notice of hearing on said. assessment roll for Monddy, September 22nd, 1930 at

RESOLUTION NO. B -1151, BE IT _RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO',EJTSSION CF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, 71ASH-
INGTON:
That it is the intentiozof the City Commission of the City of
Yakima, Washington, to impro7e Third Avenue South and Broadway Avenue, all in the City
of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a Portland-cement concrete sidewalk, five
feet in width, along the west side thereof from West Pine Street to the end of the exist-
ing concrete walk, approximately 320 feet south of Division Street, all in accordance
with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the
City Clerk.
All persons, who may desire to object to said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Com-
mission, to be held at its offices in -`.the City Office Building, in the City of Yakima,
1,71ashington, at the hour of nine o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 15th day of September, 1930,
which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said pro
posed improvement or objections thereto and for d- etermining the method of payment therefo

nd. the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the inter
tion to make the aforesaid improvement.
The costs and expense of said. improvement shall be borne by and
