The City Commission met in regular session,,,-Mayor Stratton and. Commissioners Clark .and -
Traub. present on, roll call:
Taioved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeti.ng of Monday;
August 11th., 1930 and adjourned meeting-thereof be approved as read:: carried, Stratton,
Clark and Traub voting. aye . on roll call.
Moved:,by Traub, seconded. by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resoluti.on
No. B -1142 to improve Block 92.,by the construction of a sewer to be located. in the alley-
from a point -186 feet North of 'the North line of East Walnut Street to a point about; 24
feet South of the South line of East Chestnut Street; and there being no objections in
writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof, it.-is ordered that the
Ordinance-creating a local improvement district be laid on -the table for one week;

No. B -1143 to improve Fenton Street by the construction of a sewerito serve all property
in Frances Dunning"s Villa Lots and there being no protests in.writing-or otherwise suf-
ficient to delay said improvement, it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local Im-
provement .District be laid. on the table for one week: - carried,. Stratton, Clark a.nd Traub
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the Resolution of Intention presented for im-
proving South 4th Street from East Maple Street to East Race Street,, by the construction
of a sewer be laid. on the table for one week: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting
aye on roll call.

Improvement District No. 486,.in the sum of $1,174.37 is hereby approved and filed with

RESOLUTION NO. B -1149, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI'S+' CITY COM7,4ISSION OF THf4 CITY OF YAKIMA;
WASHINGTON:
That it is the intention of the City Commission of said City of
Yakima, Washington, to improve all of the property bounded on the north by Pacific Avenue
on the east by South First Street, on the south by Lenox-Avenue, and on the West by the
easterly line of the Northern Pacific Railway Company's right of way, all in the City of
Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a pipe sewer twelve,inches in diameter, be
ginning at the existing manhole :on the trunk sewer on Lenox, Avenue,approximately 540 feet
west of the west line of South:. First Street, and running thence in a northerly and north-
westerly direction to-a point approximately 50 feet south and 200;feet - west of the inter -
section of Pacific Avenue and South First Street; said sewer to be provided -with the ne-
cessary manholes, flush tank and.wye branches, and by doing all such other work as may,
be necessary in connection therewith; all in accordance with the plans and specification
therefor to be prepared by the City Engineer and to be filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed. improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at.a meeting of the City Com-
mission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,
Washington, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock A.M., on bloniday, the 15th day of September, 1930,
which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said pro
posed improvement, all objections thereto and. for determining the method of payment there
for, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and the in-
tention to.make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and
assessed against.all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as pro-
vided by lays *, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission
at or prior to the time fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other infor-
mation required by law to be submitted by him.

RESOLUTION NO. B -1150, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIL�U, WASH
INGTON:
That it is the intention of the City Commission of the City of
Yakima, Washington, to improve South Fourth�Stree -t, f rom'East Ilaple Street to East Race
Street, all in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a Portland cement
concrete sidewalk, six feet in width, along the west side thereof; -and by doing all such
other work as may be necessary in connecgion therewith, all in accordance with plans and
specifications therefor to be prepared by the City Engineer -and to be filed with the City
Clerk.
All persons who may desire- to object to said proposed improvement
