Moved by Stratton, seconded by Traub that this being the time for receiving bids for pav- ing -24th Ave. N. from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln Avenue in L.I.D. No. 483, the follow- ing bids were received.: Wilson & DeBlasio ^4,499.52 Hidstate Contract Co. 4,315.65 The bid of iiid.state Contract Co. for $4,315.65 being the lowest and best bid., said, contract was awarded. to them upon the filing of the proper bond: carried., Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Stratton, seconded by Traub that the bid for constructing a sewer along Lots 5 to 53, both inclusive in Cheryy Ave. Subdivision in L.I.D.No. 482 heretofore awarded to Wilson & DeBlasio, Contractors, be constructed of concrete in the sum of $2,751.40 as per bid of June 16th, 1930: carried., Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll, call. B -1141, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIC CITY COMAIS5ION OF THR CITY OF YAKIMA, „rASH- INGTON: That it is the intention of the City Commission of said City of Yakima., Washington, to improve Lots 7 to 12, both inclusive, Block 4, Inglewood Addition and Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, Block 5, Allans Subdivision, all in the City of Yakima, Iffash- ington, by the construction of a sewer to be located as follows: Beginning at the ex- .isting sewer manhole on 19th Avenue South.at the south line of Allan's Subdivision, thenc west along said south line to 20th Avenue South, thence north along 20th Avenue South to a point about 37 feet south of the north line of Inglewood Addition; the same to be eight inches in diameter along the south line of Allan's Subdivision and. six inches in diameter on 20th Avenue South; together with two manholes, one flush tank and thirteen six -inch wye branches, and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection there- with; all to be constructed in strict compliance with plans and specifications therefor to be prepared. by the City Engineer and to be filed with the City Clerk.; All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Com- mission to be held at its offices.in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima, Wash ington, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock A.111•, on Monday, the 21st day of July, 1930, which time and place gre hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and the inten- tion to make the aforesaid. improvement.
