The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and. Commissioner Clark pros
ent on roll call, Commissioner Traub absent.
Iiioved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the meeting of Monday, June 16th
1930 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Stratton,,and Clark vot-
ing aye on roll call, Traub absent.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the
application of the General Oil Co. to install a public gasoline station on the N.E. cor-
ner of the int :ersection of Fourth Avenue and-3,11est.Yakima Avenue, and all parties concern-
ed therein being present to discuss the proposition; after careful consideration by the
City Commission the application was denied and permission to erect said, station was re-
fused: carried, Stratton and'Clark voting aye on roll call, Traub absent.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1215, entitled, "'An Ordinance providing for the construction of Portland
cement concrete sidewalk and crosswalk upon certain streets in the City -of Yakima, estab-
lishing a Local Improvement District, providing a method of payment therefor and. creating
a special. fund" , was introduced. by Clark and read by the City Clerk.

roll call, Traub absent.

publication as required by law for the cone- truction of an enclosure for the purification
and filtration plant; alterations of the interior of the present bath house, and the
construction of a fence connecting the bath house and swimming pool at the City Park on
.Torth 4th Street, said bids to be received. on Monday, the 7th day of July, 1930 at the
